Formula and method

EPC = affiliate earnings ÷ affiliate clicks. Multiply EPC by 100 or 1,000 for scaled earnings. Target clicks = optional income target ÷ EPC.

Worked example

£150 from 500 affiliate clicks gives £0.30 EPC, £30 per 100 clicks and £300 per 1,000 clicks. At the same EPC, a £600 target requires 2,000 clicks.

How to interpret your results

EPC means earnings per click. Compare figures only when the reporting windows, attribution rules and definition of a click agree. The optional target extrapolates this observed average.

Assumptions and edge cases

Earnings and clicks cover the same period. Zero clicks makes EPC undefined. A positive target cannot be translated into clicks when EPC is zero; missing targets leave that output unavailable.

Frequently asked questions

Is EPC the same as earnings per 100 clicks?

No. This tool labels both separately because multiplying an EPC by 100 changes its scale.
